While some hermits live and practice their faith in isolation (or relative isolation), the majority of people grow in faith best when participating in community. Even introverts! Established faith traditions provide faith formation (i.e., religious education) whereby we learn and grow our faith, while helping us to avoid the spiritual pitfalls we can fall prey to on our own [“I know it all,” “I am right” (when maybe I’m not), despair during a dry period in one’s faith, etc.].
These A Parish Catechist communities are pending:
- Faith Sharing Group(s)
- The Healing Power of Prayer
To find out about our view on prayer & healing, see our “The Healing Power of Prayer” page.
- Additional Group(s) may be developed on a TBD basis (“to be determined”).
In addition, there can be faith communities for any number of demographic groups: faith communities for parents, couples, singles, women, men, youth; faith communities for professionals or students; faith communities interested in social action; etc. If you are looking for a faith community beyond the ones offered here, maybe there’s a faith community for you that’s offered somewhere else.
